Unicon Technologists Deliver Presentations at the Jasig Spring 2010 Conference, “Ten Years of Open Source Innovation”

Seventeen Informative Sessions on uPortal, CAS, and Development Technologies 
Phoenix, AZ – February 3, 2010 -- Unicon, Inc., the leading provider of open source IT consulting services for the higher education market, will be presenting and participating in a total of sixteen technical seminars and presentations at the upcoming Jasig Spring 2010 Conference, “Ten Years of Open Source Innovation,” being held in San Diego, California, March 7-10, 2010.  Seven Unicon associates, including Chief Software Architect John Lewis and Vice President of Technology Adam Rybicki, will deliver presentations on a variety of subjects pertaining to open source application deployment, development, and support for the online campus.  This year’s conference celebrates Jasig’s 10th anniversary, and will be a vital open source event for the higher education industry in 2010 with participation by leading open source communities such as Bedework, CAS, Fluid, Internet2, Kuali, OpenCast, OWASP, and uPortal.

Keynote speakers from open source communities in the higher education industry will be present, including the Vice President for Policy and Analysis at Educause, the President of the Apache Software Foundation, and the Founder of the Spring Framework Project.  Unicon’s presentations include introductory to advanced topics and real-world examples from the latest open source projects implemented at leading universities.
